The Coalition of the Independent Cultural Sector of the Republic of Moldova (CSCI) is a national platform of advocacy and cultural activism, which, as an umbrella organization, brings together non-governmental organizations and non-commercial initiatives in the cultural sector that operate autonomously, without interference from the state or the commercial sector in their curatorial and editorial policy.

CSCI aims to maintain a dialogue with public authorities, strengthening, supporting and developing the independent cultural sector, initiating research activities, carrying out information and education campaigns, forming mutual support networks and developing national and international collaborative relationships.

CSCI of the Republic of Moldova obtains legal personality on 27 March 2021 and consists of 11 non-governmental, politically unaffiliated organisations and 2 non-commercial initiatives from the Republic of Moldova as founders.
