Caravan from East is a concept developed by members of Trans Europe Halles East Hub covering 10 countries and 13 cultural organisations.

Every December each of the culture center nominates various artists of the year in 6 categories: music (live and DJ), cinema, poetry, visual arts and performance categories.

This is done primarily to get them visibility and international attention. We hope this would result in them touring other eh members and not only.

Selection Guidlines:

• It is a subjective choice of the member organisation;
• Would suggest prioritising upcoming artists or new projects;
• Should be inclusive in terms of gender and minority representation;
• Artists should be residents of the correspondent member state; artists should be responsive and ready to tour;
• All related data is included in the online pack as tech rider, travelling persons, press kit and contact person;
• Members are not expected to produce the tours but are welcome to do them;
